Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a brand new, freestanding ER requiring 3+ years of full-service ED experience and MA licensure.

Details

• Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art, freestanding Emergency Department
• General ED treating combined adult and pediatric patients
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Minimal floating required to the Marlborough campus
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum 3 full years of experience in a full-service Emergency Department required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• CEN and TNCC certifications highly preferred
• Prior Epic charting experience required
• Experience with pediatrics, psychiatric emergencies, IV therapy, respiratory care, and cardiac monitoring preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license will not be considered

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care across a wide range of conditions including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and psychiatric cases
• Perform triage, EKG interpretation, splinting, and isolation precautions
• Must complete and pass two mandatory exams at orientation covering medication administration and telemetry, each with only one attempt allowed; failure results in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided during compliance and FDI processes to help prepare for exams
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside within a 200-mile radius of the facility
• Must provide mileage from permanent address to facility for consideration
