Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with active CA licensure and at least 1 year of ED experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring prior travel experience.

Details

• Work in a general Emergency Department treating combined adult and pediatric patients
• Facility is STEMI and Stroke certified
• Variable 3x12 shifts rotating between day and night (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a)
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Float to other campuses within scope of practice as census requires
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Experience managing trauma, psychiatric, respiratory, and neurological emergencies preferred
• Skilled in triage, cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and IV therapy preferred

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care for pediatric and adult patients with conditions including trauma, psychiatric emergencies, respiratory distress, and neurological events
• No RTO permitted for this 8-week contract with a firm start date
• Only one holiday RTO request permitted per contract, covering New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning staff or travelers must have a 1-year separation before reapplying
• First-time travelers not considered due to required prior travel experience
