Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a day shift role at a Level 3 Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke receiving center requiring active CA RN license.

Details

• Level 3 Trauma Center with STEMI and Stroke receiving designation
• 31-bed Emergency Department with 5 resuscitation bays
• Average daily volume of 100+ patients, with 15% pediatric cases
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Shift start times vary between 0700 and 1100
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• ENPC certification preferred
• Trauma experience required
• Strong knowledge of pediatric population required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across a broad range of trauma, stroke, and cardiac cases
• Orientation week is not subject to the 36-hour guarantee
