Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department contract in Wichita, KS, with a high volume of behavioral health patients and AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

  • Emergency Department setting with a high volume of behavioral health patients
  • Day shift: 07:00–19:30
  • 13-week contract
  • Uses Cerner EHR

Requirements

  • Active RN license in Kansas or a Compact state currently in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
  • TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
  • CPI/MOAB High-Risk training (online portion) must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed during orientation
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
  • Driver's license, two professional references, and copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Ceil blue scrubs required
  • Nursys license verification and primary source license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
  • Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect the travel pay rate — contact your recruiter for details
  • COVID vaccination is not required
