Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department that treats a high volume of behavioral health patients
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Uses Cerner OneChart EMR
  • Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current PALS certification (AHA) required
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • CPI/MOAB High Risk online and on-site training required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including a significant behavioral health caseload
  • On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training completed during orientation
  • Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate for local candidates
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • First-time travelers may be considered
