Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ER/trauma experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• Work in a 13-bed Emergency Department serving all patient ages
• Patient ratio of 1-4
• Night shift schedule from 7p-7a
• Rotating weekend schedule, every other weekend required
• Occasional floating to the ICU required
• Uses Paragon EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI/HWC (all AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• ER/Trauma and Critical Care experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care for common diagnoses including sepsis, CHF, chest pain, stroke, DKA, and trauma
• Scrub color requirement: blue or black, casual wear not permitted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
