Job Summary
Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at CHA Everett Hospital in Everett, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have recent acute care and ED nursing experience, strong emergency assessment and patient care skills, and previous travel nursing experience.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients presenting with emergency and acute medical conditions.
Perform patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and respond to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe patient transitions.
Follow emergency department protocols, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty.
Recent acute care nursing experience.
Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.
Active or conditional Massachusetts RN license, verified through a recent Nursys report.
Two recent manager/supervisor references in the matching specialty.
Updated resume documenting relevant experience and previous travel assignments.
Completed ED skills checklist.
Driver’s license address must match the candidate’s demographic information.
Flu vaccination required during flu season.
