Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TX or compact licensure and 3+ years of ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 24 beds plus 4 hall beds
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment with no on-call requirements
• No floating required
• No block scheduling and no 48-hour guarantee
• Patient ratio of 4:1 except in fast track or triage areas
• Uses MEDHOST EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license valid in the State of Texas (or compact)
• Current ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC)
• 3+ years of emergency nursing experience required
• Ultrasound IV skills preferred
• Standard emergency nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Scrubs in any solid color are required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Blackout dates apply for the weekend after Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas and New Year's
• Maximum RTO of 3 shifts allowed
