Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a night shift (7P-7A) assignment at a busy ER requiring 5+ years of ED experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 12-bed Emergency Department within an acute care hospital
• High-volume ER with over 15,000 annual patient visits
• Patient population includes all ages, from geriatric to pediatric
• Common diagnoses include kidney stones, ACS, stroke, sprains, fractures, and AKI
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses B450 monitors and Baxter pumps
• Charting performed in Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope and skillset

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of ED nursing experience required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required
• Must be willing to work in a busy, fast-paced ED environment
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Deliver emergency nursing care across a wide range of acute presentations
• Supervised by the ED nursing leadership team
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Attire displaying branding from another healthcare facility is not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
