Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Room/Department setting in a 495-bed hospital
• Mid-shift schedule of 3p-3a (3x12's)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• On-call requirement of 1 8-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
• No floating required
• 13-week assignment with a preference for 16+ week commitment
• Up to 3 days of preapproved time off allowed as long as not during a holiday

Requirements

• Active VA RN license or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• 2+ years of recent ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• US SSN required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care within a high-volume ER setting
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Located in Winchester, VA, offering access to Shenandoah Valley attractions and outdoor recreation
