Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Gainesville, Florida. This 13-week assignment supports emergency nursing services across multiple emergency department settings, including trauma care. The role requires 12-hour night shifts, holiday and weekend availability, and participation in required clinical testing and orientation.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license in Florida or a compact state; 23 years of registered nursing experience with prior travel experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; ability to complete specialty knowledge and electrocardiogram testing, including lethal rhythm identification; influenza vaccination with required compliance documentation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an Emergency Department (ED) within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 36 hours per week, for 13 weeks beginning 11/30/2026; weekends and holidays are required, and block scheduling is not available.
• Additional Information: The registered nurse may rotate among multiple emergency department locations. Orientation is required, and clinical remediation may be assigned if required rhythm-identification competencies are not demonstrated during testing.
