Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Hackensack Meridian Health-Main Campus. This role involves providing specialized emergency nursing services in a fast-paced ER environment. The RN must be capable of assessing and prioritizing urgent medical situations across all age groups and responding swiftly to trauma cases requiring quick decision-making.

Location: Hackensack Meridian Health-Main Campus
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active RN license (NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license), BLS American Heart Association, ACLS, PALS, minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience, including at least 18 months in the ER within the past six months, clinical knowledge, analytical skills, effective verbal communication skills, and ability to perform a wide range of nursing services. ASN degree required; BSN preferred.

Additional Information: ER nurses must be prepared for diverse trauma and emergency cases that demand rapid assessment and intervention. Flexibility in working every other weekend and three out of eight holidays is required.
