Job Summary
The emergency room specialty position is located in Eureka, California. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, supporting a diverse patient population across multiple age groups. The position offers a variety of clinical responsibilities tailored to the needs of the facility and its patients.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California license in hand, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Experience with adult and pediatric emergency patient care, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, and pediatric emergency department procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Specific charting experience with Epic is preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, with providers floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 105 patients with about 100 visits per day, across 20 treatment rooms and 26 beds. Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References covering at least one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years are required. Travel compliance with SSN, DOB, and RTO must be included at the time of submission.
