Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse This position is located in an acute care healthcare facility. The ER nurse will provide critical care to a diverse patient population, including trauma, pediatric, psychiatric, and urgent care cases. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing complex nursing needs in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; ER experience of at least 3 years; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN highly desired; Cerner experience required.
• Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Delivering care in a trauma setting, managing medication titrations, arterial lines, blood transfusions, and chest tubes, and coordinating patient care for complex cases.
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse; ER experience of 3 years; current certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS; must be willing and able to work in the trauma room and take 1:5 ratios; proficiency in Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Additional Information: Must live at least 50 miles from the healthcare facility and be available to start within 7 days of offer. Complete compliance items required for expedited onboarding: national background screen, flu and COVID vaccinations, current license verification, and all certifications. All additional requirements must be submitted no later than 7 days from the assignment start date; failure to do so will result in contract cancellation.
