Job Summary

Emergency Room position beginning 12/07/2026. This travel assignment supports a fast-paced, high-volume, high-acuity emergency department serving patients across the lifespan, including trauma, cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, and critical care populations. The role requires strong dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills, trauma experience, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 3 years of emergency nursing experience; prior travel experience; Level I trauma experience; proficiency with electronic charting; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; experience with emergency medications, ventilated patients, central lines, chest tubes, blood products, intravenous vasopressors, procedural sedation, triage, behavioral health patients, and trauma care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience and Level II trauma experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 48 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
• Additional Information: The emergency department provides care for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Standard patient ratios are 4:1, with occasional variation based on acuity and assignment area. Responsibilities may include triage, fast-track and rapid medical evaluation coverage, behavioral health emergency care, phlebotomy, and care for patients ranging from minor conditions to critical trauma. Electronic charting experience is required, and successful completion of an electrocardiogram interpretation examination is required.
