Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Endoscopy/Ambulatory Procedure Unit position requiring prior endo experience and the ability to perform endo tech duties.

Details

• Endoscopy/Ambulatory Procedure Unit (ACU-OPD) setting
• 12-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift
• Uses Epic EMR
• 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (ME or compact) required
• BLS and other AHA certifications required (non-AHA equivalents accepted at submission but must be completed before start)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior GI/Endoscopy experience required, including ability to perform endo tech duties
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Serve as an RN with cross-functional responsibilities in the endo tech role
• Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
• First-time travelers may be considered
