Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department position requiring at least one year of ER experience and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• General Emergency Department treating both adult and pediatric patients
• Evening shift schedule, 1pm-1am, 4x12 hour shifts with 36 or 48 hour options
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating required
• Epic charting system required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS or NRP
• Minimum of 1 year of ER experience required
• Skilled in respiratory care and care of ventilated patients
• Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and central line care/management required
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response to dysrhythmias
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former staff must have separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
