Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. At least 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule. Patient ratio: 5:1.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a busy Emergency Department with 40 beds and a daily census of approximately 90 patients
• Care for diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Flexible scheduling with option for 36 or 48-hour work weeks; overtime available after 48 hours
• First-time travelers welcome; 24-hour orientation provided with onsite module completion
• Trauma experience preferred; exposure to Level I and Level II trauma cases

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required; TNCC and CPI preferred
• Experience with arterial line management, central line care, ventilated patients, blood product administration, and IV vasopressors
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, ABG interpretation, and procedural sedation
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
