• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 - $1,700

• Schedule Notes: Option of 36 or 48 hours per week; at least 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Charting System: Epic experience preferred
• Patient Ratio: 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with New Mexico or compact license obtained prior to start
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and TNCC preferred/required as applicable
• Experience with triage, trauma, stroke, and general emergency nursing care
• Comfort working with adult and pediatric patients in a high-volume ED
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• Ability to float to like units within scope as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform triage, IV starts, medication administration, and ongoing patient evaluation
• Support trauma nursing, stroke response, cardiac care, and other high-acuity emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established Emergency Department protocols
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs in a fast-moving clinical environment
