Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or acute-care nursing experience
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• PALS certification (AHA)
• TNCC certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process
• Care for patients presenting with stroke, STEMI, trauma, psychiatric, geriatric, and pediatric needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to established ER protocols
• Monitor patient responses, document care accurately, and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Work collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-moving Emergency Department
