Contract | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Sunday–Saturday depending on facility needs | Weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room and urgent care environment
• Transition from an initial acute care hospital setting to a free-standing emergency and urgent care facility after an onboarding period of approximately two weeks
• Assess, triage, and manage emergency and urgent care patients across a range of acuity levels
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as needed, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Epic electronic health records experience required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI and TNCC certifications preferred
• First-time travelers will be considered provided emergency room experience requirements are met
