We are seeking a dedicated ER Registered Nurse to join our team in Durham, NC. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ER) environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and manage patient care plans.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI (in hand or willing to obtain during compliance).
• Active NC or Compact nursing license at the time of submission.
• Ability to pass EKG/Telemetry exam onsite.
• Weekend requirements: Yes, every other weekend.
• No on-call requirements.
• Local candidates are welcome; however, local rates apply ($5 less for those within 75 miles).
• Flu vaccines are required; no exemptions or declinations accepted.

Shift Information:

• Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Orientation is bi-weekly, and scrub color is royal blue. This position is not open to first-time travelers or block scheduling.
