Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

• 22-bed Emergency Department treating all patient populations including trauma, STEMI, psych, cardiac, GI, and stroke cases
• Patient ratios of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Every other weekend required, with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
• No call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• 2+ years of ER experience preferred
• Trauma and pediatric experience preferred

Additional Information

• Scrubs may be any color or print, but t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings are not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• New hire orientation held bi-weekly on scheduled dates
