- Shift: Night shift, 12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,950
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Floating: May float to nearby sister facilities/campuses as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Prior travel nurse experience required
- Current RN license required; compact RN license must be in hand at submission
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Experience with adult and pediatric emergency care preferred
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of approximately 4-5
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Must be open to floating between nearby facilities
- First-time travelers are not accepted
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department
- Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients across a wide range of acuity levels and age groups
- Support triage, ED holding, ambulance arrivals, and lobby triage workflows
- Perform and assist with procedures including IV starts, blood product administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, procedural sedation, and rapid response interventions
- Manage respiratory therapies such as CPAP/BiPAP, breathing treatments, and ventilated patient care
- Provide care for trauma, neuro, cardiac, and complex emergency presentations
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and support safe, efficient patient flow throughout the department
