Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN with at least 1 year of ER experience and a TX or compact RN license for a combined adult/pediatric ER.

Details

• General Emergency Department treating combined adult and pediatric patients
• Evening shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 3:00pm to 3:00am
• 36 or 48 hour weekly options available
• Floating required
• Weekend shifts required
• Epic charting system experience required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS or NRP
• Experience with respiratory care and ventilated patients
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required
• Central line care and management experience required
• Skilled in triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response to dysrhythmias
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and proper PPE use

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year and approved by the facility before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
