Travel RN – Emergency Room (ER) | Night Shift
Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Start Date: November 16, 2026
⏳ Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts | Every other weekend
Assignment Highlights
- 26-bed Emergency Department
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Primary Stroke Center and Level I STEMI facility
- High-acuity emergency cases and admission rates
- Special procedures include moderate sedation, chest tubes, intubations, central lines, and defibrillation/pacing
⚕️ Your Role
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency interventions.
- Manage critical patients requiring respiratory support and procedural sedation.
- Support stroke and cardiac emergency protocols.
- Perform triage and IV therapy as needed.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the Emergency Room.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and STEMI certifications.
- Conscious sedation experience required.
- Strong emergency assessment and critical-care skills.
- First-time travelers are not accepted.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Community hospital experience.
- TNCC, CPI, and ENPC certifications.
- Triage and ventilator management experience.
- Experience managing psychiatric emergencies, overdoses, and suicidal patients.
Important Contract Requirements
- Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions only.
- COVID-19 vaccination not required.
- Scrubs: Navy blue or grey.
- Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity ED environment.
