Description

American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a Level II trauma and stroke center, requiring WA or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting seeing approximately 170 patients daily of all ages
• Level 1 stroke and cardiac center, functions as Level II trauma center
• Short term acute care facility with 325 staffed beds
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating required between like units within skill set, and potentially between facilities within the state
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Pending license candidates accepted, but quick starts preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted with at least 1 year of experience and Epic background
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO preferred, ideally under 7 days
• Travelers expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
