Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Room averaging approximately 220 patients per day
• Manage and triage a diverse patient population within a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely, evidence-based emergency care
• Float to other units in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and Joint Commission standards, based on clinical experience
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends; agency team members may be scheduled up to six weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period, with night shift members assigned up to three Sundays per period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale (pending status accepted as a substitute)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine required – no exemptions accepted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level 1/Level 2 Trauma Center setting
• Familiarity with Relias or Net Learning online education portals
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
