Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are required. At least 1-2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience is needed. Experience with electronic medical record systems is recommended. Skills in triage, trauma care, and rapid patient assessment are important 2.
