Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare facility, is looking for a Registered Nurse - Emergency Department to start right away in New Haven, CT.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Cross-train and float to other campuses and ED observation units as needed.
• Maintain patient care standards in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
• Document patient information using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a similar hospital setting, Level I Trauma experience required.
• Current certifications in TNCC, ACLS, and BLS.
• Proficiency in managing emergency department equipment and procedures, including arterial line management and intubation.
