Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level II Trauma Center experience and a WI or Compact RN license.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department treating combined adult and pediatric populations
• Evening (1500-0330) and Night (1900-0730) 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating required as needed

Requirements

• Active WI RN or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA-only BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years required
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment of six months or more, with extensions highly preferred
• Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting the assignment
• References are not required for consideration

Additional Information

• Care for a wide range of ED presentations including trauma, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies
• Skilled in triage, isolation precautions/PPE, and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with IV therapy, central line care, and administration of emergency medications preferred
• Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
• Free onsite parking available
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
