WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Join WCS Healthcare Partners in Worcester, MA, as a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Department. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment, supported by a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to pediatric and occasional adult patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Perform triage, IV pediatric skills, and manage dysrhythmias and procedural sedation administration/monitoring.
  • Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and manage ventilated patients as needed.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system.
  • Work every other weekend and holidays as required, with flexibility in shift start times.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department.
  • Current permanent MA RN license.
  • Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Experience with Epic charting system is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a union facility with no special scheduling accommodations.
  • Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
