Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse II works under the supervision of the Director and is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising individualized care in a patient care area according to departmental policies, procedures, and the Nurse Practice Act. The RN will provide age-appropriate and developmental care, collaborate with physicians, patients/families, and healthcare team members, and utilize positive communication skills. Flexibility to work in other nursing units as needed is required. The RN will also act as a preceptor and charge nurse when assigned and actively participate in achieving departmental goals.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical Registered Nurse experience in specialty areas.
- Recent Epic experience: Minimum of six (6) - twelve (12) months within the past year.
- Current California RN license.
- Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS/Healthcare Provider certifications as per American Heart Association standards.
- Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN).
- Successful completion of SVMH Pharmacology test.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical Registered Nurse experience in specialty areas.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Open to floating within cluster/similar department.

Additional Information:
- Must be willing to work during Thanksgiving; no RTO during Thanksgiving.
- Pay range: $74/hr - $111/hr.
- Benefits may include stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), medical, dental, vision, 401K, and other applicable benefits.
