Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and cardiac telemetry strip reading skills.

Details

• New 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit
• Adult medical patient population
• Patient ratio of 4 to 5 patients per RN
• Uses EPIC for charting
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30, with every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Floating required
• No rotating shifts required

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (conditional licenses not accepted at time of submission)
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred (Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted at most locations)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical telemetry patients
• Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston at a reduced rate
• RTO must be identified prior to consideration
