**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurses!** **Job Description:** * Shift: Days 7AM - 7PM * Start: ASAP **Required Certification/Licenses:** * Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license * TNCC Certification required * CPIDE (CPI/De-Escalation) * NIH Certification * BLS Certification from AHA required * ACLS Certification from AHA required * PALS Certification from AHA required * Additional Certifications may be required based on units where floated **Summary:** As a Registered Nurse, you will be a vital clinical practitioner, coordinating and implementing exceptional patient care tailored to specific age groups. Your focus will ensure quality care is delivered efficiently and safely, aligned with our unit’s standards. You will embody our mission and philosophy, demonstrating excellence in your clinical practice while treating everyone with respect and consideration. **Responsibilities:** * Record initial assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs. * Systematically re-assess patients to identify progress and trends that require intervention. * Develop and execute measurable individualized care plans within established Nursing Standards. * Make comprehensive nursing decisions, modifying care plans based on evaluations and patient outcomes. * Participate in health education for patients and significant others with effective discharge planning. * Implement and document timely interventions tailored to patient needs. * Evaluate and adjust the plan of care based on patient progress. * Perform various Point of Care testing procedures. **Staff Responsibilities:** * Employ effective communication strategies for intended outcomes. * Delegate unit work assignments to ensure completion of required patient care support activities. * Coordinate team assignments, adjusting based upon patient and unit needs; follow up for quality and completeness. * Utilize appropriate chains of command for resolving difficult issues. * Assist in the orientation of new staff/students in the unit. * Serve as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff with prompt, courteous service. * Promote a positive work environment through professional support for unit staff. * Be receptive to new ideas and contribute to the unit’s development. * Collaborate with others to achieve unit and organizational goals. **Customer Relations:** * Exhibit behaviors that foster high levels of patient/customer satisfaction and respect for their rights and confidentiality. * Demonstrate effective communication and human relations skills, promoting teamwork. * Maintain the hospital's credibility and positive image through professional conduct. * Support the mission, goals, and continuous improvement of the hospital. **Other Responsibilities:** * Assist with special projects as assigned. * Accurately interpret and communicate Human Resources Policies and Procedures. * Exhibit flexibility in adapting to changes in the work environment or schedule. * Maintain a positive attitude during stressful periods. * Take responsibility for your professional growth and development. * Comply with all policies and maintain positive attendance. * Adhere to all patient and environmental safety policies and procedures. **Requirements:** **Education:** * Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program. **Skills:** * Current knowledge and skills relevant to the patient population served. * Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients’ rights in care delivery. * Communicates clearly and concisely, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
