Position Summary

The Nursing Supervisor provides 24-hour leadership and oversight of hospital operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care through effective resource allocation, staffing coordination, communication, and crisis management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing, equipment, and resources to support safe and efficient patient care.
• Oversee patient admissions, bed placement, patient flow, and capacity management.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders, physicians, and departments to resolve operational challenges.
• Provide guidance and support to clinical staff regarding policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead responses to emergencies, critical incidents, and disaster situations.
• Promote teamwork, patient safety, quality improvement, and effective communication.
