This role involves providing critical care to adult patients experiencing complex medical conditions in a busy hospital setting. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple critically ill patients and collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, a patient-centered approach, and the willingness to support team needs. The unit has a recently expanded 28-bed ICU with advanced equipment and a welcoming staff. The ICU undergoes a level II trauma survey later this year and benefits from 24/7 intensivist coverage. The staff includes a variety of experienced nurses, some with over 20 years of tenure, and the ICU team values ongoing education and team collaboration.
