Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of experience, a LA or compact RN license, and prior travel nurse experience

Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Weekend requirement of 4 shifts per month
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to other ICUs including MICU, Neuro, TICU, and Burn
• Holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license required at time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted for this unit)
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted during the assignment
• Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate
• Candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
• Previous permanent staff at any LCMC Health facility must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for travel assignments
