Job Summary:
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a surgical intensive care setting, focusing on trauma patients, post-cardiac surgery, and general post-surgical ICU care. The position supports day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a schedule of 36 hours per week starting on 08/25/2026.

Job Details:

• Position: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; current ACLS and BLS certifications; minimum of 1 year of recent acute care hospital ICU experience; ability to work in the United States with relevant state licensure
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification; prior travel experience to large trauma facilities; experience with advanced equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia therapies, ECMO; BLS, NIH, and ACLS certifications preferred
• Additional Information: The unit features a 26-bed surgical ICU with a staffing complement including 13 RNs on dayshift, 1 charge nurse, and 1 patient care technician per shift. The unit utilizes Meditech electronic medical records and is equipped with advanced technology including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, and ECMO. Staff are driven, organized, efficient, and possess a positive, engaged attitude.
