Job Details
Position Type: ICU Nurse Intensive Care Unit
Location: healthcare facility (generic)
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Current ACLS, BLS certification, NIHSS; minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU; licensed to submit license
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, oncology, and surgical patients; Cerner electronic health record proficiency
Responsibilities: Deliver critical care to diverse patient populations including those with neurological conditions, post-surgical needs, and respiratory failure; manage ventilated patients; respond to emergency situations; support patient safety and comfort
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Schedule details: Days, every other weekend; first to float to sister facility if needed float to ER, Telemetry, or Med-Surg units; minimum two shifts of specific orientation plus Cerner training
