Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Intensive Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio (low acuity 3:1)
• Manage ventilator patients and perform drip titration
• Assist with or support procedures including intubation, central lines, endoscopy, tracheostomy, and chest tubes
• Operate Baxter infusion pumps and document care using Expanse EMR
• Float to Progressive Care unit as needed
• Collaborate as a team player within a night shift team of 1 charge nurse and up to 10 RNs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical ICU experience
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management and drip titration
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity ICU environment with complex patient populations
• Familiarity with Expanse EMR
• Experience with Baxter infusion pumps
• Ability to float comfortably to a Progressive Care setting
