Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, delivering high-acuity nursing services throughout night shifts
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using electronic charting systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale competencies in daily clinical practice
• Demonstrate flexibility, including the ability to float to other units or campuses as needed
• Complete required orientation modules during onboarding (approximately 6–8 hours, non-billable)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU or applicable service line
• Must reside at least 150 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place within that timeframe
• Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Altera charting system preferred but not required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
