Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring independent telemetry interpretation and EPIC experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU of an 86-bed community hospital
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts (1900-0700)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Travelers are first to float
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active OH state or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry independently
• EPIC charting experience required
• Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Max RTO of 10 days per contract; no RTO allowed during initial weeks of assignment
• Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the health system's main campus in Columbus, OH to be eligible
• Approximately 12 hours of non-billable modules must be completed pre-start
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
• More than one call-off may result in termination; no call/no show results in immediate termination
• RNs must have a 366-day separation from prior employment with this health system before returning as a traveler
• PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN
