Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in the Intensive Care Unit, focusing on trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients. The nurse will utilize the EPIC charting system and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe and efficient patient management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care for trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation and patient management.
• Manage and administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience

• 3 years of nursing experience preferred; 2 years may be accepted with strong experience.
• Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:2.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred.
• Travel experience required.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
