Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and continuous IV sedation.
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias.
• Implement isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to PCU, other ICUs, and SRC campus as needed.
• Work a schedule of 3x12-hour night shifts, including weekends.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Strong skills in managing ventilated patients and interpreting complex clinical data.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
