Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Exeter, NH. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with critically ill adult patients, including those with medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis. You will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.

As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for managing a 10-bed ICU, handling a variety of cases, including stroke patients, as the facility is certified as a Primary Stroke Center. While the hospital does not have a full pediatric ICU, you may encounter pediatric critical care situations that require stabilization before transfer to larger tertiary pediatric centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Collaborate with intensivists and hospitalists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage complex medical cases and respond to emergencies effectively.
• Participate in the care of stroke patients utilizing telestroke services.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of ICU experience required.
• Epic experience is required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) are mandatory.
• Availability to work every third weekend.
