Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift critical care position requiring WI or compact license and prior ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Critical Care-ICU unit
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday
• Contract lengths from 13 to 26 weeks accepted
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
• May float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU within skill set
• May receive Med/Surg/IMC patient assignments if needed
• May be required to float onsite or to facilities within 40 miles
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Current license and Nursys primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients, with potential cross-training to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
