Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring an active GA or compact license and 18 months of experience, working night shifts.

• Work in the Surgical ICU unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of experience required
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Active license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to surgical ICU patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
• Holiday RTO requests must be spread out rather than clustered on consecutive days
