Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN - ICU for a travel assignment requiring a NJ or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital
• PM shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week over three 12-hour shifts
• Must be willing to float as needed to Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, PACU, Cardiac PACU, CCU, Med/Surg Step Down, Neurovascular Step Down, and Cardiac Step Down
• May also float to a nearby sister hospital
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Skilled in pre-operative and postoperative assessment and patient education
• Knowledge of documentation guidelines and National Patient Safety Goals
• Proficient in safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics

• Holiday coverage required for one winter and one summer holiday
