Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel position requiring at least 1-2 years of Medical ICU experience and WA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Teaching hospital setting on the 2nd floor ICU unit with 14 beds
• Medical ICU with minimal cardiac patients, treating sepsis, respiratory, some cardiac, and trauma cases
• Patient ratio of 1:2 with charge nurse free of patient assignments
• Occasional use of IABP equipment
• Uses Paragon EHR
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• 1-2+ years of ICU experience required
• Medical ICU experience and TNCC certification preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Work as part of a collaborative ICU team that holds each other accountable to best practices
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
